Deutsche Welle

Deutsche Welle is Germany's international public service broadcaster. It serves a worldwide audience with a variety of programmes and services in 30 different languages via various media and channels. Consequently, interoperability of media platforms is of crucial strategic importance for DW in order to improve global reach and ensure a quality of service for interactive as well as linear programming.

Role within the MHP-KDB project:
Deutsche Welle has been working on MHP concepts for several years. Within the project, DW will develop benchmark applications which will be tested for several quality aspects such as speed and usability. Furthermore, DW intends to advance its MHP applications and to share its experience with the project partners. With regard to dissemination activities, Deutsche Welle will demonstrate the project results on national and international fairs, events and workshops using DW's own presence and worldwide partner networks.
