holds a prominent position on the international cable market as the expert center for telecommunication over cable. On behalf of the Euro-DOCSIS Certification Board (ECB), tComLabs acts as an independent certification testing lab. It performs compliance and interoperability testing on cable equipment that is based on the Euro-DOCSIS and Euro-PacketCable standards.

tComLabs also plays a leading role in advanced projects such as cable telephony via Voice over IP (VoIP), or interactive digital television via set-top boxes. For this, it not only has expert knowledge but also the most advanced equipment and infrastructure. tComLabs makes its know-how available to the cable communication market through consultancy and training.

The Training Center offers specialized training programs on the most recent telecommunication technologies. Besides a number of standard training courses, tComLabs also offers custom-made training programs that can either take place in Ghent or on location.

With its Consultancy Services, tComLabs assists cable operators in achieving and maintaining state-of-the-art performance on their networks. It therefore offers advice on network topology and technology, and acts as independent body for problem solving and auditing in live networks.
