Telenor

Telenor is the main Telecom company in Norway. This also includes broadcasting networks on satellite, terrestrial and cable, and Canal Digital who is owned by Telenor is the major actor in interactive digital TV distribution in the Nordic region. Telenor as an operator of broadcasting networks has been active in several DVB groups and contributed to DVB standards.

Role within the MHP-KDB project:
Telenor has taken the role as leader of Work Package 2: Analysis, Monitoring and Requirements, and will contribute to fulfil the expectations of the project. We will also participate in other work packages with practical solutions, application development and test facilities. Telenor has since the beginning of MHP been active in NorDig and other forum to promote MHP as the solution for the horizontal market, and will during the project be active to establish a platform in the Nordic countries disseminate MHP solutions and knowledge.
